Chili by George Recipe was developed by George Couch. It’s easy to prepare and perfect dish for weekday dinner. It can be cooked with stove or Instant Pot or Other slow cookers.

  • 2 pounds lean ground beef
  • 46 fluid ounce tomato juice
  • 29 ounce tomato sauce
  • 15 ounce kidney beans, drained and rinsed
  • 15 ounce pinto beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 1/2 cups onion, chopped
  • 1/4 cup green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon white sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 1/4 cup chili powder

Directions for making Chili by George

  1. Put the Lean ground beef in a large bowl and cook under medium heat till it becomes brown.
  2. Take a large pot add the beef prepared earlier. Over high heat add tomato juice, tomato sauce, oregano, kidney beans, pinto beans, onions, bell pepper, cumin, cayenne pepper, sugar, ground black pepper, saltand chili powder. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low. Simmer for 1 1/2 hours.

The recipe will be excellent if you cook with slow cooker for 8 to 10 hours. Reynolds slow cooker is my favorite for this recipe. You will feel the taste difference.
