  • 3 cups all-purpose flour.
  • 2 cups granulated sugar.
  • 2 cups banana, mashed.
  • ½ cup walnuts.
  • 1 ¼ cups vegetable oil.
  • 4 eggs.
  • 1 teaspoon soda.
  • 1 teaspoon Salt.
  • 3 teaspoons Cinnamon.
  • 1 teaspoon cloves.
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg.

Extra Utensils:

  • Loaf pan.

Instructions for Jamaican Banana Bread

  1. Pre-heat the oven to 350 degrees F (176.6 °C).
  2. Neatly grease two loaf pans using a grease spray or you can also do it simply by using a kitchen brush and just spread the oil using it.
  3. After the greasing is completed, dust the pan’s surface with a tiny bit of all-purpose flour.
  4. Next, put all the dry ingredients in a large bowl and make a deep well in their center using a spoon.
  5. Place mashed banana and all the remaining ingredients in the center, gracefully.
  6. Afterward, mix all the ingredients together, make sure to blend them well and mix until all the dry matter gets moist.
  7. When the batter is ready, pour it in the two neat and greased loaf pans and set them to bake in the pre-heated oven for about 50-60 minutes.
