Ingredients:

  • Bone-in chicken breast: 2 pound
  • Water: 3 cups
  • Chicken stock cubes: 2 cubes
  • Milk: 2 cups
  • Eggs yolk: 2
  • All-purpose flour: 3 tablespoons
  • Corn: 1 can (Drained)
  • Table cream: 1 can
  • Cottage cheese: 1 cup
  • Mozzarella cheese: 7-ounces (Sliced)

Directions:

1. Chicken:

Combine 2 cups of water, chicken breast, and chicken stock cubes in a large cooking pan and bring to boil over high heat. Lower the flame once boiled and allow to simmer until the chicken is no longer pink. Transfer the chicken to cutting board and shred if nicely using forks. Preserve the chicken broth.

2. Chicken Mixture:

Take the reserved chicken broth in a large cooking pot and add 2 cups of milk, beaten egg yolks, and all-purpose flour and whisk. Bring to boil while stirring constantly and cook until thick. Remove from heat and upon cooling at room temperature, add shredded chicken, corns, and cream. Mix well.

3. Baking:

Preheat the oven at 400 degrees. Pour the chicken mixture into the baking try and top the mixture with cottage cheese and cover with the slices of mozzarella cheese. Bake until the cheese melts and a light brown layer is formed at the top.

4. Serving

Cut the Fricasse de Frango into pieces and serve with your favorite drink.
