1/2 cup (125 ml) margarine, relaxed
1/2 cup (125 ml) dim earthy colored sugar
1/3 cup (75 ml) granulated sugar
1 egg
4 squares Semi-Sweet Chocolate, cleaved
1 tsp (5 ml) vanilla
1 – 3/4 cup (425 ml) Five Roses Universally handy Flour
1/2 tsp (2 ml) heating pop
1/4 tsp (1 ml) salt
Covering:
12 squares Semi-Sweet Chocolate, slashed
3 squares White Chocolate
Preheat broiler to 350F (180C).
In a bowl, cream margarine. Beat in earthy colored sugar and granulated sugar until smooth.
Beat in egg. Microwave chocolate on mode for 1 min.
Mix until smooth. Mix chocolate and vanilla into creamed combination.
Mix in flour, preparing pop and salt. Move teaspoonfuls (5 ml) of mixture into little balls.
Spot on delicately buttered preparing sheet and set in cooler for 5 min.
Prepare treats for 10 min. Cool totally on rack.
Covering: Microwave semi-sweet chocolate on vehicle for around 2 min.
Mix until smooth. Set bowl of dissolved chocolate over dish of steaming water.
Plunge cooled treats into dissolved chocolate.
When chocolate is firm, microwave white chocolate on mode for around 45 seconds.
Mix until softened and smooth. Enhance treats by sprinkling with white chocolate.
