Traditional Healthy Vietnamese Fish Sauce Recipe
Vietnamese Fish Sauce is one of the important member of Vietnamese Cooking. It’s in all the Items and hence also known as “Dipping Sauce”. And by the way “Nước Chấm” means Sauce. This dipping sauce full of flavor and delicious! It’s tangy from the fresh lime juice, and has varied amount of sweetness. Restaurants use some level of sweetness and home made use different amount of sweetness.
- 6 tbsp water
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1.5 tbsp freshly squeezed lime or lemon juice
- 2 tbsp Fish Sauce
Mix Sugar in a bowl of water. You can warm the water for better mixing.
Add required quantity of lime juice.
Add fish sauce slowly into to bowl till the you get suitable taste.
Topup with garlic and chilies if you wish to add.
