Slumgullion is a hot, savory, and hearty stew of beef, vegetables, potatoes, etc. Combined with macaroni and tomato making a great flavor .

Ingredients
- 1 (16 ounce) package elbow macaroni
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 2 (4.5 ounce) cans mushrooms, drained
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 (14.5 ounce) can stewed tomatoes
- 2 cups tomato sauce
- 2 teaspoons minced garlic
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions for making Slumgullion
- Bring a large pot boil salted water and add pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until firm to the bite; drain and place in large saucepan.
- Meanwhile, in a large skillet, add beef and cook in medium heat. Just befor turning brown beef stir in onion and saute till beef is brown.
- Add beef mixture to pasta, and stir in tomato sauce, mushrooms, garlic, salt, pepper and stewed tomatoes. Cook over low heat, 10 to 15 minutes, or until heated through.
