Directions for making Huaraches Food Recipe
- In a bowl, mix masa flour, baking powder, salt, and broth and fold it well until dough holds together well by adding additional water if necessary.
- Divide dough into 4 equal portions. Shape each portion into a 6-inch-long log on a sheet of waxed paper. Press each log into a 1/8-inch-thick oval disc, about 4 X 8 inches. ( stack with waxed paper, wrap airtight, and refrigerate up to 2 hours.)
- Now place the frying pan and heat with Medium heat. When it is hot start frying each the pat of dough till its light brown. Use a wide spatula to flip it.
- Since the total dough is divided into 4 you should divide all the toppings into 4 portions each. Spread the beans over the huaraches. Cover it with chicken toppings. Cook it for another 2-3 minutes and transfer it to plates.
