Summer is just at its apex here in the northern hemisphere, and we are fronting a lot of scorching and fiery rays of the sun, in the present times. Living in such a blistering heat can be really disturbing for some of us, especially for those who are weepers and whiners of these days, just like me. You might not be such a huge complainer, but truly no one likes to get grabbed in such sweltering heat and if that doesn’t convince you, then who don’t just want to mesmerize and cherish himself with some plausible and chilling drinks in such torrid heat.
Mangoes are something that keeps me inspire and grateful for summer, I consider them to be a true summer blessing. This statement is intensely supported by the well-famed quote of Kaviya Sree:
“The only thing I like about summer is MANGOES”

Although, I suppose that mangoes are something that is highly customizable and can be consumed to make numerous appetizing recipes. Among such countless recipes, what’s on the top list is this flavorful, chilling drink. Not just it is super easy to make but it is also very freshening and delightful in terms of taste. It’s the all known, widely enjoyed, and quick to prepare “homemade mango nectar.” It just sounds awesome, but in actual it is even more cherishing than its name, especially works splendidly in hot, blazing days like the recent ones.
It only consumes a few customary ingredients to create this stroke of genius at home. Mangoes are what that is mainly consumed in this drink. So, if you are having a plentiful supply of bright yellow mangoes. This might be the right time to perform this experiment. Grab your essentials and follow these steps to make your own homemade mango nectar drink:
Ingredients:
- 2 cup mango pulp (about 4 large mangoes).
- 1 cup water.
- 1 cup sugar.
Instructions:
Step.01:
Saturating the water:
In the first place, take a medium-sized pot and add water in it. Place the pot on the stove and heat it on low-flame. Combine the sugar in it and bring the water to simmer. Keep stirring in the water and sugar in the pot so that the sugar gets wholly dissolved. When the water gets saturated and attains a clear-transparent texture rather than a cloudy one, turn off the stove and immediately remove it from the flame.
Step.02:
Slicing the mangoes:
Later on, proceed by slicing the mango into small chunks or cubes. Extract the remaining pulp using a spoon or scoop. Skin and pit are of no use, you may readily discard them or just keep them on your on wish….!
Step.03:
Blending the mangoes:
Afterwards, take a food-processor or blender and pour the pierced mango chunks in it. Blend it up, so that it converts into nicely flowing liquid syrup. When it reaches the optimum texture, turn off the blend and proceed forward.
Step.04:
Mixing the liquors:
The next step is surely the most obvious one. When all gets done, take a jug and pour in the mango juice and water syrup in it. Mix them well, you may use a rubber spoon for this purpose. When all the liquors get nicely combined, put the jug in refrigerator until it gets freezing cool.
Lastly, pour them in 4 separate glasses and serve them with a straw embedded! Your mango nectar is just ready.
RELISH! In these hot summer days with the plausible drink. I am a huge fan of this and usually drink it as an afternoon refreshing and reviving drink and it works just wonder inside the mouth. However, you may try this anytime as long as you’ve plenty much supply of mangoes.
More for summer!
